Greetings!
We hope the new school year is treating you well and you are getting ready for the start of the holiday seasons! Here at the Club things are in full swing with activities in our 5 core program areas up and running. Already we are averaging a daily attendance of over 300 youth! The annual campaign, It Just Takes One, has officially kicked off this year. As in previous years, we are proud to say that 100% of our board members and staff members have financially contributed to our campaign. With Dave Cordes as our campaign chair we are well on our way to achieving our ambitious goal of $175,000! This year we have also made it easy for people to make a financial contribution through our online website donation page! In an effort to go green and cut costs, the Club has switched from mailing newsletters to the world of eNewsletters. Please take a moment to forward this eNewsletter to your friends, family, coworkers and neighbors so they can also join our community and be the first to learn about what's happening at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield. The Club's eNewsletter, Club Connections, will be published quarterly with special issues for breaking news and events.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the support you have shown our Club. Because of you we have success stories to write about in our newsletters!
Many thanks,
William R. Parks

 Free Breakfast for all Veterans!
Keystone members might have had a day off from school but that doesn't mean they were sleeping late and lazing around. On the contrary they were preparing a free Veterans Day Breakfast for all Veterans and active Military Personnel. The leadership group raised the money to purchase food (with special thanks to Dunkin Donuts for their donation of bagels and coffee), decorated the gymnasium, served tables, and cleaned up the event.
Carlos Roque, 16-year-old Westfield High School Junior and Keystone President said he didn't think twice about spending his day off at the event.
