A Commitment to You
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We each in our time find ourselves at a place in life that could be better. It varies in degrees, but the truth is that something is holding us back. We each search in desperation for a way out of the situation, yet the answer is in the very search. Your mind is in creation mode in every moment of every day. When we allow ourselves to digress into negative thought then negative thought is what we are creating into our lives. We each process these moments in very different ways. Some decide and through affirmation and positive thought create a different experience. Others look outside themselves and find wellness. Each forgets that whether you look inside or out it is the faith/belief in the result that creates the result.
It is the commitment made to yourself to have the result that brings it to you. What commitments are you making to you today? Are you deciding that today is the day to address all the ills in your life? Would it be beneficial to have some outer help in the process?
I still to this day am an avid reader or audio book listener. I am continually looking outside myself for the right terminology that will give me my next "aha" moment. The words come from many sources and sometimes it is just in a turn of phrase.
I commit to myself to remain open to new awareness and to follow my heart when it comes to my further development. When the next teacher arrives in my experience I will be there to listen to their words and learn so that I grow.
If there are barriers holding you back from the life you desire, don't give up, relax. Realize that with your thought is the answer. Find your simple path within and follow your heart. Whether to the next teacher or coach or to the homeless guy on the corner, follow and grow. Make that commitment to you.

Book Review

The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
The Power of Now has quickly gained popularity and has much to say about living fully present. I must admit I stumbled through this book and had to keep coming back to it as it did not hold my interest. I found a lot of Tolle's views to be somewhat based in an ego position and though I did find many wonderful truths within its pages, I felt the book to be very preachy. His admonishment of the use of the word "God," stating its meaning has been lost, I thought was quite a presumptuous statement. I feel that "God" is finally being defined in many and varied ways and no one should be admonished for their terminology of faith/belief. I had high hopes for reading this book and though I did find it interesting I will probably not read it again and will browse through another Eckhart Tolle book before purchasing it.

The Healer makes house calls! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As his schedule permits, John Davis is now offering home visits for counseling or healing. If you live within a forty mile radius of Medina, Ohio, John will come to you for a one-hour consultation, for a fee of $150. This is ideal for those who may be ill or infirm who cannot easily get to a public venue to see him.
In addition, you can hold a healing gathering in your home or other venue. If you have friends and family who would benefit by a session with John, he will come to your gathering for a fee of $50 per half hour healing appointment. Attendance can be as few as five or as many as ten people.

Peniel Action Steps - Direction

Sit down and write on a piece of paper in pena list of things that you would like to see happen in your life. Pick things that you personally desire and believe are attainable. As you write down each item, below it write five things that would have to happen for you to get there. Begin each day by looking at your list of items you are creating into your experience and declaring,"I AM_________" Then continue onto your day. Know full well that "I Am_____." Pay careful attention to the things going on in your life. Things will begin to fall in place that will allow the list of things that have to happen to begin happening. The more you are aware of the manifestation the faster it comes.
