Spring is a time of renewal. The leaves that were shed in the fall, the snow that covered the ground in the winter are becoming memories. As the earth begins to awaken this spring let us think about something else . . . YOU. The outside is beautiful and you want to get your hands in the dirt. You look forward to water sports and hiking or just lying in the sun . . . Wonderful! This is allowing yourself to do the things that make you feel great. You are allowing yourself to actively feel your connection to the divine. Celebrate your oneness with the earth and each other. Realize that in doing the things that make you joyful, you are in fact creating joy in and for your world. There is no separation. Enjoy. Breath in the fresh air and enjoy it. That expression of joy is the Source. In these moments we do not feel as if we are lacking. We do not feel unloved. We feel wonderful!!

Easter Sunday is another sign of renewal. Many know my beliefs are that the avatars of old were enlightened people who showed us the way. Even so, my strong connection to one avatar holds special meaning to me on Easter Sunday. My very first visual memory of my friend Jeshua came in the second reading with Sharon Prince (www.sharonprince.net). I was lying on my face in the sand as Jeshua was standing over me laughing. The reason this is relevant to Easter is the reason I was lying in the sand. I was seeing Jeshua my friend and teacher for the first time after seeing him die. So Easter means a great deal to me because I have very visceral memories of seeing him again. He took up his body again.

Miraculous as this was, Jeshua taught us that he was the same as we are. His renewal was a grand sign of our potential. Though you may not come back from the dead this year, you may release the anchors that have held you in place. You might break through the barriers of fear and begin creating anew. Today is a great day to choose a new direction. You can do it. You can do anything.
