Through the efforts of the
Speaker of the House David Ralston, and Deputy Ag commissioner Terry Coleman, Home
Style Foods had the opportunity to exhibit in the Georgia Pavilion at Expos
Alimentos., San Juan, Puerto. Expo
Alimentos is the food industry's premier international exposition in Puerto
Rico, and the Caribbean. The
visitors to this show had the opportunity to enjoy our wonderful Southern Style
Sausage. We also introduced our
value sausage "Uncle Ray's" at the event.

What's for dinner?
|
Sausage and Chicken Pena This easy recipe, is great
for an "I don't feel like cooking" moment.
 1 lb Home Style
Sausage 1 lb Sliced Chicken (you can buy pre-cooked) 1 lb Pena Noodles 1/3 cup chopped basil 3 tablespoons of olive oil 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic 1 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes 1 16oz bag of shredded mozzarella cheese Follow instructions on the
box to prepare the noodles. While
waiting for the water to boil, fry or grill the sausage and cross cut into
slices. Chop the chicken, chop the
basil and garlic. In a skillet,
heat the oil and garlic about 1 minute. Then add basil, and tomatoes ( do not drain the tomatoes) and cook for 5
minutes. Add chicken and sausage. Add noodles and toss. Finally add mozzarella cheese and toss. Add a little sea salt and cracked
pepper to taste. Serve and eat
immediately. You must have
something green, salad always works! Don't forget to tell us how yours turned

 We had a great time and made many new friends. Samples of all the product lines were
available to the buyers. We
sampled product all day, including the new product line. We offered evening meal advice to our restaurant
and food service buyers. Sausage
