Trustees Revises The Combined Fund Distribution Formula
At its regular quarterly meeting on July 26, 2010 the Board of Trustees revised the Distribution Rate Formula for The Combined Fund for 2011 and succeeding years. In 2011 the formula is set at 4.50 % of the average fair market value of the Fund for the twenty trailing calendar quarters, a reduction from the current 5.00%. In 2012, the distribution will be calculated at the rate of 4.00%, and for 2013 the Board will again review the rate with the provision that the 2013 rate will not exceed 4.50%.

Greetings from the Lutheran-Episcopal Campus Ministry at UW-Whitewater!
Brett Favre is in the news again, which means fall is just around the corner. Our students will be back in just a few weeks and if you have students attending the UW-Whitewater, we would love to meet them! Your referral information will make that happen-the UW will not divulge religious preference so your referrals will allow us to "meet and greet" Episcopalian students on campus.
This fall, St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Whitewater will be offering two free student dinners a month in the Parish Hall. We have doubled the meals we are offering and would love to partner with other congregations, youth groups, etc in hosting these meals. We have been averaging between thirty and forty students for these meals-they are a lot of fun and the students love having a "home cooked" meal-this love reaches across all faith traditions!
If interested, please call Fr. Dave Huxley at 262.749.1168 or e-mail me at dehuxrev@sbcglobal.net . Thank you!

Daughters of the King forms Madison chapter
The Daughters of the King is an international religious order for women who are communicants of the Episcopal Church. Chapters are now found all over the world. The Order is sacramental and we take life-time vows of prayer, service and evangelism. It is these two aspects of the Order that make it different from other organizations. Being a Daughter does not preclude anyone from continuing to participate in other organizations.
We currently have a Daughter-in-Training for a new chapter to be established for the Madison Area. The Bishop and area Rectors and Vicar approved a city/area wide chapter. We hope to grow both in numbers and prayers. Currently, it looks like the institution of the new chapter and the vows for the new Daughter will be sometime in September. More details will follow in your bulletin and newsletter. Please keep this endeavor in your prayers! Daughters will pray for any person, in any situation, or for any condition or event (people affected by oil spill in Gulf, for example), that you request. These prayers are held in strictest confidence and we will pray for your request for one month. Please contact me (see below) and I will relay your request to the other Daughters.
The Motto of the Order For His Sake . . .I am one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do something. What I can do, I will do. What I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do. Lord, what will you have me do?

From the SFH Chaplain
Calling all clergy: Is there someone from your parish who will be attending UW-Madison in the fall? If so, please be in touch with me at 608-257-0688 or chaplain@stfrancisuw.org .
Sometimes it's not so easy to figure out by working with the University if any Episcopalians are enrolling, so please let me know and I'll work on reaching out to any incoming (or current!) students you know of. We have worship and dinner weekly at 5pm, as well as mid-week services and fellowship opportunities.
Thanks for your help! Tom Ferguson, Chaplain
