St. Luke's, Madison awarded Challenge Grant
Peggy Worzalla, Bishop's Deputy for Congregational Development, reports that St Luke's in Madison is the first congregation to be awarded a Challenge Grant for Greeting and Incorporation. The amount of the grant is $1,000. Congratulations!
In the review of their plan they saw not only how hit or miss the greeting plan had been, but now how their strengths of the community can address the issues of greeting as well as incorporation.
The Vestry has made full incorporation of new members one of the two goals they will be working on this year. At their next retreat this will be the topic of discussion and review along with planning for implementation.

What in the World are you doing?
A Note from the Diocese of Milwaukee's Commission on Global Reconciliation We know that many parishes in our diocese are engaged in mission both here in the U.S. and throughout the world. Last Fall at the Diocesan Convention we displayed a "Wall of Mission" featuring photos of us at work. We want to do the same thing at next Fall's convention. Please take great pictures and get them ready to display in October. [Deacon Carol Smith, Chair of Commission on Global Reconciliation]
