DRIBBLE ON WHEELS BASKETBALL CAMP
Saturday, October 13th - Sunday, October 14th

Dribble on Wheels basketball camp offers youth and adults with physical disabilities, a quality wheelchair basketball camp experience. Whether you are just starting out or trying to take your game to the next level, this camp will help you reach your full potential all while having fun! A great place to learn the game if you are new to the sport or continuing to challenge yourself to reach a goal. The 2-day camp keeps the purpose focused on working the fundamentals to the point of mastery to give each player a strong foundation from which to grow their game. Attendees will work to learn and/or approve on: Ball Handling, Shooting, Hand Eye Coordination, Defense/Offense and Team Work.

 

NEW THIS YEAR - Elite Camp: (by invitation only) Have you been to our Dribble on Wheels camp too many times to think you have nothing more to learn? Think again! Attend this National Team/Collegiate level experience. Space is limited.   

 

Cost: $50 ($75 Elite Camp)
Age 3-7 yrs old-$20 for session 1-4pm Saturday

Camp Fee includes T-shirt, lunch Saturday/Sunday and 2-day instruction.

Come by and check out this great group of athletes on   Tuesday nights. This is a great place to meet others, get a little exercise and have fun! Some equipment available.

      Wheelchair basketball Saturday weekly practice -

NEW!! Seattle City League Basketball - Wheelchair Division

3 on 3 WHEELCHAIR Basketball League for Teens and Adults 

Join a team for a 9 week league of competition and fun! Teams basketball practice will be youth (15 yrs & up), women and men mixed. Beginner to  novice players will have the opportunity to play in a competitive but friendly environment. All participants must have the ability to follow a sequence of instruction and have adequate upper body control to maneuver a manual wheelchair.

There are 8 games guaranteed plus play-offs. League play begins December 4.

Cost: $108 per team ($27.00 per player) Location: Miller Community Center 330 19th Ave E., Seattle  

Days: Tuesday Time: 6 - 8:45pm Dates: December 4 - February 12 (no games Dec 25 or Jan 1)

New team sport to the Northwest. Open to physically disabled or able-bodied youth and adults looking to have some fun.

Power Soccer: Power Soccer

NEED: a coach to support a team for power soccer in  Seattle. Contact  tami@seattleadaptivesports.org for more  information.

Seattle Adaptive Sports is very interested in supporting the powerchair users in the Seattle area and northend. We are looking for a coach and support staff to help support this sport.

October 13th, The CREW Youth Social meets at Nova High School from 3-5pm.

October 13th -14th, Dribble on Wheels basketball camp. This all day basketball camp is open to all ages, beginner to advance and will include a 'By Invitation' Elite Camp. Location: Nova High School. Cost: $50. Novice FREE.

October 16th, Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Game Come watch a game and help sell raffle tickets to benefit our organization through the Seattle Thunderbird Foundation. Email info@seattleadaptivesports.org if available and your name will be put on the list for admission. 

November 17th, Wheelchair basketball exhibition at Mt Pilchuck school in Lk Stevens. Let your coach know you are available to come 'show off'.

October 20th-21stBridge Classic basketball tournament, Portland, OR. All teams attending.

November 10th-11th, Tacoma Classic basketball tournament, Mt Tahoma High School. Adult teams attending.

November 16th-18th, Turkey Shootout basketball tournament, Salt Lake City, UT. Adult teams attending. 

December 1st-2nd, Seattle Jam basketball tournament (SAS host) West Seattle High School. All teams competing. Volunteers needed for planning and scorekeeping. Contact info@seattleadaptivesports.org for more info.

December 7th-9th, West Coast Regional wheelchair basketball tournament, Phoenix, AZ. Junior team.

February or March, Sled Hockey scrimmage with Canada.

The CREW Youth Social  

 

The CREW Youth Socials are open to youth and young adults to come hang out in our mentoring program. Supervision is provided by Camp Casey counselors. Organizers: Brian and Cassie Hurley. Sponsored by Seattle Adaptive Sports, Seattle Parks and Recreation, the Spina Bifida Association of Washington and the Kiwanis Camp Casey Foundation. The CREW Youth Social will take place the second Saturday of each month from 3-5pm, following the Seattle Adaptive Sports Experience clinics. What a great time to have your parents go off shopping or into Seattle for some fun, while you have some of your own with friends....games, food and laughter.
