USA SLED HOCKEY HITS THE NORTHWEST

This is an open house, drop-in clinic. Hours of the clinic are fro  m 1:30 PM - 4:30 PM. The first hour will be geared to young aged participants with the last hour speeding up the pace and a scrimmage game. EVERYONE is welcome throughout the day and will be provided basic instruction with skills/drills and on ice time. If you have your own equipment, including helmet, gloves and knee/elbow pads, please bring them with you. BIG NEWS!!! US Hockey Paralympians, Yen Lee and Rico Roman will be in the house to instruct at this clinic before they head out to the London games. Not able to make the clinic, no worries. The Seattle Sled Hockey team starts weekly practices on Sunday's from 5-6pm at Castle Ice (Renton, WA) the following Sunday, August 12th. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need lots of help both on the ice and off to fit participants in equipment, transfer to the ice, assist on the ice and registration. About Seattle Adaptive Sports
Seattle Adaptive Sports is a not-for-profit organization, tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. SAS promotes, encourages, and simulates the education, socialization, physical development, and normalization of persons with physical disabilities; and to promote public awareness and understanding of the need for recreational sports and amateur competitive athletic opportunities for physically challenged individuals. SAS offers competitive basketball, track/field, sitting volleyball, sled hockey and monthly sports clinics to physically challenged individuals in the Puget Sound region.
