This month, the BAC welcomes our newest learner, Paolo! Paolo is a 5 year old who loves painting and riding his bike. We are so happy to have Paolo and his family in the BAC community!
A new instructor, Katie, has also joined the team at BAC. Katie has a B.A. in Psychology from Queens College and has been working with children with autism for six years. Katie is working in the Little Kids Classroom. We are glad to have her on board!
November was a busy month at the BAC and December promises to be busy as well! Please read on for more information about the latest happenings at the school!

Volunteer Night Recap

Thanks to everyone who was able to come out on November 16th and help us celebrate the hard work of our volunteers! A group of extremely dedicated seventh and eighth grade students from Saint Ann's School has been spending their free time and lunch periods to volunteer with our students. During their night of recognition, we presented the student volunteers with BAC gift bags decorated by our students, and screened an extended version of the volunteer video currently available on the BAC web site. Several of the students also presented speeches about how meaningful their volunteering experience has been to them. We are so grateful to have these wonderful volunteers in our community!

Mark your calendars! The BAC's annual holiday sing will be held on Friday, December 17th at 12 pm. Jason, the BAC music teacher, will lead BAC students in singing their favorite songs and a few holiday tunes! We will also have refreshments before students depart at 1 pm to begin the holiday break.

Stand-Ups Give BAC: Comedy Night

It's official! Our third annual comedy fundraiser will be held on Tuesday, February 8th at Carolines Comedy Club in Times Square.
An email blast went out to all of our email contacts, but please be sure to send out the word to all your friends! For the first time ever, we will be offering discounted prices to people who buy their tickets before January 1st! Visit the BAC website to make your ticket purchase.
If you are interested in helping out with this event, your help will be much appreciated! We also need items for our silent auction, so please begin to think about whether you or anyone you know has something special to donate.
