Once upon a time. . . . . there was a really nice, kindhearted young guy named Paul. The kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. Paul was a true entrepreneur having started his first business as a teen in his home state of Florida and then became a very successful roofing salesman.
Travel up the coast to New York and you find a girl, Rhonda, whose business aspirations were inspired by īThat Girl`! (The part where she throws her hat up in the air.) Her first 'real job' as a teen was a temporary secretary. A short time later she was made permanent and given the position of creating and running a national electronics service department.
Fast forward 10 years, across the Country to Arizona, where they met, married, had a family, really good careers and made a really good life together.
In 2000 Paul was being actively recruited by the owner of a small roofing company (Lyons Roofing) who had been around since 1993 and wanted Paul to help him grow his business. Paul had been very content, loyal and successful at his current company who he had been with for 7 years. The 'courting' continued for many months.
After careful consideration, and many conversations with his wife, he decided it would be a great opportunity for his career and their future.
In 2001 Paul made the decision to take advantage of this opportunity.
Fast forward again to 2004. Paul was instrumental in increasing the company revenue from one million to four million dollars and now the company was up for sale. It didn't take much thought, it was just a matter of putting all the pieces together.
March 11, 2005 will always be a special day. We started out with very idealistic goals and continue to embrace the same goals.
- Be the best company to work for.
- Be an industry leader.
- Be financially stable.
- Leave a legacy.
- Install 'roofs that don't leak'!
We have gone through many changes and challenges, personally and as a company over these years, and they have made us smarter, stronger, and better at what we do.
We will continue building on this foundation by focusing on our customers, employees, the industry, technology and our community. We are forever grateful and feel blessed. We will continue to focus on creating a company that 'Creates Customers, and Employees for Life'!
Always,
