CA Technologies at the Conference

The 5th CA Plex/2E Worldwide Developer Conference is the one opportunity you've have to meet and network with these valuable members of the CA 2E/Plex team under one roof. In addition to the product technologists listed below, product manager Bill Hunt and other CA management will be in attendance.

Simon Cockayne - a veteran Synon developer who has been instrumental over the years in helping CA 2E evolve and adopt new technologies over the years such as J2EE components and web services. Simon is also one of CA's leaders in helping adopt a true agile methodology, and he'll be providing an informative session about how the current CA 2E development project is being driven and improved as an agile project.

Rory Hewitt - Rory is well known in the CA 2E community; in addition to playing a major role in CA 2E's ongoing success, he has presented at events all over the world and is very highly regarded.  In addition to sessions covering brand new features that will be available soon, he'll lead a pre-conference education course that highlights some of the newer functionalities we've rolled out that many developers either aren't aware of, or aren't sure how to use them.

Robert Layzell - Rob has been involved with CA Plex since its early Obsydian days, and has extensive experience as both development engineer and consultant.  He has been critical in driving our technical strategy for CA Plex forward, notably over the course of our most recent releases where support for the .NET platform was brought into the tool.  In Chicago he'll offer several insightful technical sessions around CA Plex, as well as a pre-conference course on our upcoming WPF client generator.

Kiyoshi Terasawa - another veteran developer who has extensive knowledge of each of the CA Plex-supported platforms: Windows/.NET ,Java/J2EE and IBM i/AS400.  He has undoubtedly been among CA's most innovative developers and continues to help add valuable new functionality to CA Plex.  He will be presenting about our upcoming IBM i Unicode support in addition to sharing knowledge about all other things Plex.
