Your computer should always have some type of anti-virus software running to keep your computer clean.  We recommend Eset NOD32 for virus protection but Kapersky is fine too.  If you are a Comcast Internet customer, you can get anti-virus software for free.

I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. 
This month, we  will be discussing some new features and services at Web Tech Services, Inc.
 
First, Ashley and I moved our offices into the empty house next store to Web Tech Services. It's much quieter and we are just testing it out to see how well it will work for all of us.  The techs have more room for repairs and I will still have an office at the store for meetings.

Second, we are considering offering computer support contracts with our customers.  Please see the information below for details.

More Than a Website   

Please remember that we are a good website / internet resource for you.  When you get those letters saying "your domain name is about to expire" please call or email to see if they are real.  We manage a lot of domain names for our customers and renew them automatically if your website is live.  There are so many scams regarding domains, SEO or website management.  These companies can actually hijack your domain name and release it only if you pay them.

We are available for questions.  If you aren't sure of a weird email you have received, or want advice on internet marketing or website questions, please let us help you.  Simply call or email.

The techs have been considering service contracts for your home computer systems.  We would like to offer:

  • Free Spyware removal
  • Free Anti-Virus Software
  • Free virus removal (with normal use)
  • Repairs free (parts extra)
We would charge an annual fee for each computer under the service contract.  For now, we are considering $250 per year. 

We are just testing this service and if you are interested, let us know and we can go over the details with you.

New Social Media / Workshop Info 

I am very excited to be presenting at a few national conferences this Fall.  The social media workshop is a hot topic.  Two of the conferences are for medical professionals and I am really excited about that.  All medical groups should be using social media to connect with their patients.  Social media will help any business or profession!  I'm looking forward to presenting our information to these groups and hope they will use this important tool in their practices or business.
