Smart Money Week is April 17-24, 2010. I have event calendars at the store for free and you can visit their website to see a schedule. If you are not familiar with SMW, it's a great program the Federal Government puts on with hundreds of free workshops on any topic from Foreclosures to Franchising to Social Media (guess who's presenting that one?)

Computer Maintenance

Windows Updates

Do you get those annoying pop-up windows that say "Windows has updates to install"? Do it. Many times, these are security updates that are required. Software updates such JAVA and Adobe Flash are needed too. Don't ignore these warnings. Often times viruses or spyware can easily get through software that is out of date.

Take the time to check these updates. Or automatically have your computer update them. Go to Control Panel, Security and have Automatic Updates set to on.
