This newsletter, Keeping in Touch, is our way of keeping you up to date with relevant news about your Sage MAS 90 / 200 software and also what's happening at Munjal White.

Custom Office
| This month's support tip is all about the Custom Office module. Over the last two months, we've had the opportunity to deliver significant value to customers interested in Getting more from their Sage MAS 90 / 200 Investment.
- Using the new scripting features of v4.4 and v4.5, we were able to add environment handling charges to an invoice. These charges are calculated automatically. This scripting solution replaced expensive custom programming and will survive future upgrades
- Using the new scripting features of v4.4 and v4.5, we were able to add a button to the Sales Order Entry screen to convert a Sales Order back to a Quote
- Using Advanced Field Settings, we were able to modify the customer type field in Customer Maintenance so that the users are forced to select from a list of valid customer types. For those of you who are familiar with this field, making this standard field required is something new and being able to select from a list of valid choices for this standard field is also new
- Using Customizer, modify the Item Maintenance screen so that some users are restricted from seeing cost information, but can see pricing information
- Using User Defined Field Maintenance and User Defined Script Maintenance, add two user defined fields and a quick script for a case quantity check. For example, an item is sold in cases of 12. If a user enters a quantity ordered of 18, a message box appears that indicates that a multiple of 12 must be ordered and the quantity ordered automatically changes to 24. This solution also replaced expensive custom programming and will survive future upgrades
