Year End Tip - Company Copy |
From time you time, you might want to make a copy of your live company data so that you have a copy for testing purposes or other reasons.
In Sage MAS 90 / 200 v4.0 and higher, you can do this quite easily. Let's assume that you want to create a copy of your ABC company into your TST test company
Go to Library Master | Main | Company Maintenance, create or select the company code TST, click on the Copy button, then select the source company (ABC, in this example). Select the modules that you want copied (usually all of them), then click Proceed. After this is done, your TST company now has all the same data as the ABC company. Keep in mind that your forms are not copied in this manner, so you may not have a complete working copy. |
