What is Everyone Talking About?
We've reviewed our emails over the past few months and thought you might find it interesting to hear what everyone is taking or asking about . . .

  • EFT and Electronic Payment Processing.  Cheque fraud (different payee, different amount, etc) is becoming more and more common.  Have you considered an EFT solution, whereby you pay your suppliers/employees by direct deposit, rather than by cheque.  One of our clients commented recently that paying suppliers by EFT is actually cheaper when you consider the cost of mailing, preprinted cheque forms, etc.  Click here to read more about our EFT solution.
  • FRx, F9, MAS Intelligence.  Huh?  Microsoft is retiring the FRx software.  Sage has announced a replacement called MAS Intelligence.  MAS Intelligence is much more -- you can report on data in all modules, not just GL.  Stay tuned to learn more about this new reporting tool.  As part of this announcement, Sage is also discontinuing its partnership with F9.  F9 will still continue to be sold, but through F9 directly, not through Sage.  If you own FRx or F9 licenses, you will be given the choice to exchange these licenses for equivalent MAS Intelligence licenses.  Click on the links below for more information
  • www.SageU.com to access alternative training options for many topics -- credit card processing, What's new in v4.4 Product Update 1 and 2, Paperless Office (emailing invoices), etc
  • Windows 7.  Perhaps you need to buy a new PC and it has Windows 7 already installed.  Keep in mind that Sage does not support MAS 90 / 200 v4.2 or lower under Windows 7.  If you have Sage MAS 90 / 200 v4.30 or v4.40 installed, you'll need to have the latest service updates installed.
v4.4
If you have haven't already upgraded to Sage MAS 90 / 200 v4.4, what are you waiting for?  Although still fairly new, feedback has been quite positive from our customers who have already upgraded.

As part of our upgrade work, we normally schedule time to show you the features of the new version.  One feature that always seems to get a 'round of applause' is the ability to enter a cash receipt by entering an invoice number (rather than the customer number).  This really streamlines the Cash Receipt Entry process.  This really helps when you have multiple customer numbers for the same customer.

If you would like to schedule your upgrade to v4.4, please click here to start the dialog.

Referral Program
When you were searching for your business management software, what made you choose Sage MAS 90 / 200?  What made you choose Munjal White as your software partner?

Repeatedly, we hear from our clients (old and new) that the reason they chose to implement Sage MAS 90 / 200 with Munjal White's assistance is because of our honesty, our personal attention, and our dedication to help you get the most from your software investment.

We strive very hard to earn and retain your trust every day.  A referral from our clients is the greatest compliment we get from doing our job!  As I'm sure you'll agree, getting new customers is an extremely difficult task and we would like to ask for your help.

From time to time, you're probably asked by someone in your circle of connections what business management software you're using or who the consultants are that helped you through the process.  Or maybe, you've heard of the pain that someone in that circle is experiencing every day in working with their existing system or software partner.

If you can provide us with a name of a person or company who is looking for business management software for a mid-size business, it would mean a dinner for two on us.  Based on your referral, if we are able to schedule a first meeting with a prospective client, we will be happy to send you out for dinner locally - somewhere in the price range above McDonalds....

If the prospective client turns into a sale, we will send you to New York for a weekend on us!  That's right - a weekend for two in New York.  Airfare for 2, 2 nights accommodation and $300 spending money are included.

If you would like to learn more about our referral program or would like to provide a lead, please click here or call us at 416 703-3458 x285.  Each successful referral is worth dinner for two or a weekend in New York.  There is no limit to the number of referrals you can provide.

We look forward to your feedback and your ideas for future issues of our newsletter.  If you would like to contribute an article to a future newsletter, we'd love to have your contribution.  Please let us know how we can help you Get the Most from Your Sage MAS 90 / 200 Investment.

Sincerely,

    Shabnam and Robert
