HST will come into effect in Ontario on July 1, 2010.

Sage recently released the first of many quarterly product updates for the Sage MAS 90 / 200 product line. In the past, updates were generally software patches/fixes, but with the v4.4 release, in addition to software patches/fixes, Sage will be adding additional functionality.
Here are some of the features that were added in Product Update 1
- Accounts Receivable | Cash Receipt Entry -- a new lookup by invoice number makes it faster to find the correct customer when entering a Cash Receipt
- Accounts Receivable | Invoice History Inquiry -- search for an invoice by lot or serial number
- Accounts Payable | Recording Wire Transfers -- adds additional functionality to Manual Check Entry to assist with recording and reversing Wire Transfers (EFT Payments)
- Sales Order | Enhanced Duplicate Purchase Order Visibility and Safeguards -- can now check for duplicate customer PO numbers in Sales Order History and AR Invoice History
- Sales Order | Quick Print a Picking Sheet from the Sales Order Entry screen
- Sales Order | after Quick Printing a Sales Order, you can Quick Print a Picking Sheet
- Sales Order | Quick Print without getting the print dialog box
- Sales Order | Restrict items that a customer can order
- Purchase Order | Back Order Fill Report can print only items received
- Sales Order | Avoid Duplicate Picking Sheet Printing
- Inventory Management | search by lot or serial number
- Accounts Receivable | enhanced Credit Card number security
