Greetings!
It's finally here (or should be here by the time you read this!).  Sage MAS 90 / 200 v4.4 is now shipping.  Customers on a current maintenance plan with Sage will be shipped this version automatically.  If you're not up to date on your maintenance plan, let us know (click here) and we can find out your cost so that you'll be able to take advantage of the new features.

As always, we value your feedback on our monthly newsletters.  Click here to let us know how we're doing.

A Quote to Ponder
Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony - Gandhi

Munjal White is in the service business.  We sincerely appreciate your referrals.  Over the past few years, we have earned the trust of many new clients who have transferred from other Toronto area Sage partners.  We are always looking for ways to improve our service levels -- please let us know if you have any ideas.

Two Common Questions
Over the past two months, we have been getting 2 questions almost every week:

HST -- when the HST comes into effect on July 1, 2010, the transition within Sage MAS 90 / 200 will be quite straight forward (for many people, this could be as simple as changing the GST rate!); for others, it may be more complicated.  We plan to cover this topic in our next User's Group meeting (see below)

Windows 7 -- this operating system is still not supported by Sage.  Yes, we know that you can't buy a new computer these days without having this shipped.  Although not officially supported by Sage yet, many of our clients have been forced to move to Windows 7 on some new machines and are running Sage MAS 90 / 200 successfully.  However, be warned that it's not supported and the one issue that we have noticed is that the Paperless Office functions may not work as designed.

Users Group
As is usually the case with the release of a major upgrade for Sage MAS 90 / 200, we will be hosting another Users Group meeting to demonstrate the new functionality in v4.4.

The date has been tentatively set for Tue, March 23 in the morning.  We will be hosting this at a hotel near the Toronto airport.  We are making final arrangements with the hotel now.  As soon as all of the details have been organized, we'll be emailing you an invitation.  Please watch your inbox!

Common feedback from our User's Group meeting is that everyone is very pleased with the content covered and the pace of the session.  It's always great to meet other MAS users (both new and experienced).

Please click here to let us know if you'll be attending and also let us know if there is anything specific you'd like to see covered during the morning session.  We will be sending specific details within the next week.

Online Support Request Form
At the end of November, we introduced our new online support/service request form at www.munjalwhite.com/support .  Since that time, we have received about 115 requests through that system.  Thank you to all of you who have taken the time to fill in the details on this online form.

Some of you (and you know who you are!) still prefer to email or call either or both Shabnam or Robert directly for service/support issues.  Of course, we want to help you as best and as quickly as we can, but if you email us directly . . .
- your response will most likely be delayed as we are often both out of the office and we have assigned responsiblity as to who will monitor/manage incoming support requests
- we don't know urgent the issue is.  If you email directly or call, we don't know if you need a response in 3 hours or 3 days.  The online form has a place for you to indicate the urgency and we can respond accordingly

As part of the online support/service request form, when you submit the request, you'll receive an email confirmation with the details of your issue.  If you do not receive that confirmation, please let us know so we can troubleshoot with our web developer.

Even if you have worked directly with Robert or Shabnam on a similar/related issue in the past, it's always best to use the online support form -- this ensures that we are both 'kept in the loop' about your issues and we may have a suggestion that the other didn't consider.

We look forward to your feedback and your ideas for future issues of our newsletter.  If you would like to contribute an article to a future newsletter, we'd love to have your contribution.  Please let us know how we can help you Get the Most from Your Sage MAS 90 / 200 Investment.

Sincerely,

    Shabnam and Robert
