Orinda Idol Singers Entertain at Northern California Sister Cities Conference Hosted by the Orinda/Tabor Sister City Foundation at the Orinda Community Center on October 29th, 2011 Orinda Idol Finalists Amelia Chen, Maritza Grillo & Katie Marino were the featured entertainment at the conference luncheon. Dignitaries and special guests included the Consul General of People's Republic of China, Ambassador Gao Zhansheng; Rink A. Babka, an Olympian and business man; and pilot and business man, Bud Burke. Special thanks to Bobbie Landers of the Orinda/Tabor Sister City Foundation for inviting our young singers to perform, as well as the efforts of Steve Harwood and the parents, and of course, to Amelia, Maritza, and Katie for sharing their wonderful voices!

The OAC Supports the Orinda Woman's Club 25th Annual Festival of the TreesUnder the direction of Myrna Witt, the OAC is donating a raffle basket filled with art supply treasures to the aid the fundraising effort at the Orinda Woman's Club's annual bash on November 17th to support its grants to programs and charities serving the needs of women and children.
