The OAC's spring fundraiser an Oscar Party at the Orinda Country Club! Dress as your favorite movie character or celebrity and join us on the red carpet for a scrumptious dinner buffet, no-host bar, raffles, silent auction, door prizes and more! Try your skill (or luck) at guessing the winners and win a prize! Tickets are only $65 pp/$120 per couple (OAC members get $5 off per ticket), and includes food and champagne greeting. Announcing the 2011 High School Visual Arts Competition!
 
Open to all high school students who reside or attend school in Orinda, Lafayette, or Orinda. Categories include 2D, 3D and Photography, with awards in each category, as well as a "Best of Show" voter's choice award, for prize money totaling $2,500. The 2011 VAC is sponsored in part by EFO, LPIE (formerly LASF), MEF, and Lamorinda Patch.

Still Seeking 2011 High School VAC Chair Volunteer
 

We need just ONE volunteer for just two afternoons!

We need a Gallery Installation, Removal and Pick-Up Manager on Tue., March 1, 12-5pm and Thurs., Mar 31, 1-5pm, to oversee the NCL Volunteers, direct art placement (3/1) and account for art removal and pick up (3/31).
Now in its 8th year, the VAC needs your help in providing this popular visual arts opportunity in 2011 for Lamorinda high schoolers.
