The Orinda Arts Council Named "Volunteer of the Year"
The OAC has been honored by the Orinda Association ("OA") as an organization who has "stood out through his or her (or its members') tireless dedication to volunteer service in Orinda." According to the OA, the OAC and its members have "demonstrated such dedication for the past 60 years... a track record that's unmatched in the history of the selection process for the VOY award which has been presented for [the past] 26 years." As a special honor, all OAC members and supporters are cordially invited to the Awards Dinner on January 30. To commemorate our 60th Anniversary, the OAC created OAC at 60, a beautiful, full-color, 48 page hard cover keepsake book with more than 200 photos and clippings. It covers the OAC's 60-year history here in Orinda and you'll probably recognize many of the programs featured and the people pictured (including maybe you!) Order your copy today!
