Orinda Idol 2010 Finalists Announced
Congratulations to all our finalists! This year we had approximately 190 students from 23 schools in the Lamorinda area audition for Orinda Idol, and the quality was very high. All students that auditioned should feel proud of what they accomplished. They took care to prepare a song and had the courage to put themselves on the line by auditioning. That is a feat that many adults would find daunting. For list of finalists and runners-up, Click Here.

Summer
2010
Cal Shakes Summer Conservatory 2010 is here!
The Summer Shakespeare Conservatory is rooted in the same passion for artisitc exploration that guides Cal Shakes' Main Stage productions. Working with professional teaching artists, Conservatory students spend the morning studying acting, voice, physical comedy, stage combat, movement, improvisation, text, and more; afternoons are for rehearsals, where all the disciplines come together to create a fully-realized, specially-adapted public performance of a Shakespeare play on the final day of the conservatory season. For grades 3-12. Sessions available in Lafayette, Oakland or San Francisco. For more information, please visit: www.calshakes.org
