Orinda Idol 2010 Auditions
Volunteers needed to help with auditions! The auditions will take place at OIS, 80 Ivy Drive in Orinda. We need help with checking in singers, collecting their permission forms, checking their CD for compatibility, helping with communication issues that come up, and keeping a calm and orderly atmosphere for the waiting singers. Cal Shakes Summer Conservatory 2010 is here!
The Summer Shakespeare Conservatory is rooted in the same passion for artisitc exploration that guides Cal Shakes' Main Stage productions. Working with professional teaching artists, Conservatory students spend the morning studying acting, voice, physical comedy, stage combat, movement, improvisation, text, and more; afternoons are for rehearsals, where all the disciplines come together to create a fully-realized, specially-adapted public performance of a Shakespeare play on the final day of the conservatory season.
