Oliver Taylor
An amazing middle schooler from Lafayette, CA has been working hard to bring What's On Your Plate? to his neighborhood. He's signing up Facebook friends in order to apply for a Disney Friends of Change grant. He'll use the grant money to host a screening of What's On Your Plate? at his school or the new local library. He already surpassed his goal of 500 friends and is now aiming for 1000. Thanks to all the FB friends of What's On Your Plate? for helping him out! If you haven't already, please add him as your friend and help him reach his goal. He's a terrific friend of change, Oliver!

Family Cook-In!
In
conjunction with Discovery's Planet Green TV broadcast, we have created a
toolkit packed with ideas, recipes and activities for the whole family. Print
it out, watch the film, then cook with your family and sit down to a
delicious meal and good conversation about healthy children, healthy
families and a healthy planet. Tune in Sunday, February 7 at 2pm (or if that time doesn't work you, please feel free to have your Family Cook-In at another broadcast time).

The Website is Always Changing
We have a new game called Smart Mouth that we just uploaded to the site. We hope you play and learn about healthy and unhealthy food options.
Let's be friends. We'd love to have you visit our Network of Friends. Every day, we have more and more friends, so if you are looking to find people in your community, check it out. And if you haven't joined up yet, please do. There's no better way to work on food issues than together and with our pals!
If you've been taking pictures of your gardens and farm trips like we have, please share them in our gallery. If you have any questions about how this works, please let us know. We're here to help.
