CSA Underway!

The CSA that Sadie and Safiyah said they would start with the Angel Family IS UNDERWAY! Folks went to the farm a few weeks ago to help plant and weed. You can check out pictures on our snazzy new blog here. The first delivery of veggies will be next week, June 23rd. We still have spots left, so please let us know ASAP if you want to join!

Catherine just came back from a wonderful U.S. Premiere in Seattle! The post-screening panel, led by an editor from The Seattle Times, was a lively discussion of "What's On Seattle's Plate?". Participants, including people who work with farmers markets, fisheries and chefs' schools, discussed how to apply the lessons of the film in the Northwest context. Some audience members said they were going to join a local CSA right away. One viewer was so inspired that he wrote an amazing food poem in honor of his son and read it to everyone after the panel.

We look forward to bringing the film to YOUR community soon! We've got a long list of folks who've contacted us with screening requests. Let us know if you have more ideas, and we'll be scheduling screenings starting this fall.
Wishing you a happy and scrumptious summer (we're loving the delicious strawberries in season right now!),
Catherine, Tanya and Nell
