Pray for us ...
Look how often Paul asked the church to pray for him and those with him...(the list is not exhaustive)
"And pray for us, too..."
Colossians 4:3
"Brothers and sisters, pray for us."
1 Thessalonians 5:25
"As for other matters, brothers and sisters, pray for us"
2 Thessalonians 3:1
"And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil people"
2 Thessalonians 3:2
"I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me."
Romans 15:30
"Pray that I may be kept safe..."
Romans 15:31
"Pray also for me,..."
Ephesians 6:19
"Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should."
Ephesians 6:20
"Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should."
Colossians 4:4
Why do you think Paul asked for the people to pray for him? It's obvious isn't it? He understood that his ministry was a partnership. It required teamwork. It was a joint venture. What he did and what he accomplished was to a very great degree based upon how they prayed and if they prayed.
So in the theme of this week, I ask of you, "Pray for me" / "Pray for us".
Your partnership in our ministry is absolutely vital and essential for our ministry.
