Time, it's all relative
We have so many sayings about time.
"Time flies"
"Killing time"
"Time heals"
"It's a matter of time"
"There is a right time for everything"
"It is the time of your life"
"A stitch in time"
"No time like the present"
"Time's a-wasting"
But one thing about time, is it is constantly moving. Sometimes it is only in hindsight that we see just how quickly time passes.
Watch this video. It is a time lapse that Art Griffey recorded looking out past the church barn.

With the time compressed, everything seems to move so quickly.
That's how it is when we look back on life. Once the recording is complete, everything moves so quickly. It's hard to keep up with the time when you suddenly realize how quickly it passed.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 says the following:
For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
2 A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
3 A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
4 A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
5 A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
6 A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
8 A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.
Do you know what time it is? Right now? It is time to pray, and if you let it pass, you'll never have this opportunity again. There is much you need to pray for. But would you pray for the church? Would you pray for this week's worship? Would you pray that lives would be touched, that marriages would be strengthened, that ministry would be funded, that hearts might be won to Christ, that you New Work Fellowship will live up to the high calling that is ours in Christ?
What's that you say? You don't have time? Really?
When will we realize we don't have enough time-to NOT pray?
Are you praying?
