Orff Schulwerk Music Learning Is Coming to eLearning K12.com!
Orff-Schulwerk is an approach to music teaching and learning that is based on things children like to do: sing, chant rhymes, clap, dance and keep a beat or play a rhythm on anything near at hand. Children learn music by hearing and making it first, then reading and writing it later, just like they learned language. The method is especially effective when working with autistic children who may not learn speech and communication easily. The class is designed for children of all ages.
