The Bull Market Turns Two Years Old - What Next?
Bull Market Turns 2

Happy Birthday, Bull !

The next year is a coin flip...

According to the Leuthold Research team:
  • Bull markets that make their 2nd birthday have a 50% chance of having a 3rd birthday.
  • Investors have overcome their "disbelief" of the bull market and have reached the "point of recognition" that a bull market is happening.
  • Such recognition points have rarely represented the final bull market peak.
  • Typically, the bull lives another 14 months and generates a median gain of +18.4%.
  • However, by the time the public recognizes the bull market is in place about three-quarters of the total price gain has already happened.
