2009 Summer Featured Product
Kenyon's Old-Fashioned Whole Wheat Flour is a full-bodied flour, great for quick breads, muffins or rolls.  We grind the entire wheat berry to produce a flour that is brimming with nutrition and has a very pleasing texture.  We get our wheat as local as possible.  We found a farm on the tip of Long Island over 20 years ago that grows spectacular wheat.

Miller's Tale

We are now in full swing this summer season...We've had two Open House events, and two wonderful weekends at the Quonset Air Show and Sailfest New London.  Things are now underway for are next Open House and the Charlestown Seafood Festival.

Recently, I gave myself the opportunity to spend time with nature...the nature right in the mill's backyard.  On one of our new kayaks, I allowed myself time to go up-river...a great time to reflect.  As I paddled passed the lily pads, and through the water sparkling back at me with a carpeted reflection of clouds and trees, I looked back at the mill.  In that moment, I felt a sense of pride in what I consider our biggest asset - our setting and place in history.

As much as I enjoy traveling to various events, meeting new people and visiting old friends, Usquepaugh is a great place to come home to.  Take the time to visit Usquepaugh, make it a part of your history and together we can share in its legacy.

Sincerely, Paul Drumm III
