Mark Your Calendars...2009 Upcoming Events
Take a drive to visit one of the most beautiful places in Rhode Island. Kenyon's Grist Mill is excited to announce next year's schedule of events. In celebration of over three centuries of operation, we will be offering a special "spring open house", as well as various other tours. Come visit our home at the mill, or we will visit you at some of New England's best, local venues. For a list of fairs & festivals, click here.
Kenyon's Grist Mill Open House
May 30 & 31: 10 a.m.-5p.m.
Take a free tour of the mill, sample Johnny Cakes and locally roasted coffee, watch the grinding process, learn about our history, meet local artisans and farmers, and enjoy clam cakes and chowder. Admission is free, but please bring a food donation for the Rhode Island Food Bank or clothing for the Johnny Cake Center.

Miller's Tale
The response to our first newsletter, the Millstone was such a welcomed surprise. I want to thank all of you for the support and well wishes. Enjoy many photographs throughout our website and newsletters, courtesy of Karen Bartlett, Paul Kandarian and Hank Randall.
This fall has been very productive. We are preparing for the cold weather and moving our projects indoors. At this time of year the mill is bustling as our products are a tradition at many holiday dinners. I love the Johnny Cakes topped with lobster Newburg, myself.
