"I will play and talk about several different orchestral pieces with significant cymbal parts: Dvorak Carnival Overture, Romeo and J, Tch 4th Symphony, etc. For each excerpt, I will demonstrate a different technique and discuss my cymbal choice. Also, I will bring multiple pairs of cymbals to those in attendance to try and even purchase."

ABOUT KEITH ALEO / Tuesday, May 10 - 7:30 / Free Admission Keith is currently the Director of Education and Orchestral Activities Worldwide at the Avedis Zildjian Company. He is also on the percussion faculty at the Boston Conservatory and Director of Percussion at the Interlochen Arts Camp.  In addition to his duties at Zildjian, Boston Conservatory and Interlochen, Keith's accomplishments in the educational world range from clinic presentations at major universities throughout the US and Europe to workshops at all the major percussion conventions worldwide. He has presented at both local and international PAS conventions as well as the Paris PAS Perkumania Festival and Italian PAS Days of Percussion in Fermo, Italy. As performer, he was a member of the Florida Philharmonicfor 20 years and has presented solo, ensemble and chamber concerts throughout his career. His most recent key orchestral performances include the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra.
