The answer is this...While we are all by now used to hearing the Unemployment figures in terms of what percentage are unemployed, the flip side of the story is never reported...namely, that if unemployment were say, 10%, that would mean that 90% of the population had jobs.

 

How different would your mind set be if the news reported the Employment Rate of 90%, rather than the unemployment rate of 10%?

 

I think you would agree with me that there are many countries in this world that would give their right arm for a 90% employment rate.
