What Matters to District 32

Judy Telge - Corpus Christi
"The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a Civil Rights Law, not a building code or architectural guidelines. It guarantees the rights of individuals with disabilities to access what people without disabilities can access and pretty much take for granted. When public and private entities fail to provide equal access - often by inadvertantly erecting barriers - then those entities are not in compliance with the ADA. Enactment of federal laws to protect ALL citizens' rights is a guarantee of freedom in our great country."

We want to know what matters to you. Please tell us what you think.
