Texas coast leaders rally over windstorm insurance
State Rep. Hunter: 'We are forming today what is called the Coastal Windstorm Task Force'

CORPUS CHRISTI
 - Local leaders from up and down the Texas Gulf coast and as far inland as Victoria Friday morning packed the City Council chambers at City Hall in a rally mixed with equal parts anger and optimism at what may happen with the state's wind and hailstorm insurer of last resort for Coastal counties. Read Full Article

What Matters to District 32

JJ Hart - Corpus Christi

"What matters to me and [my wife] Leslie is that we live in a progressive city that is well run, clean, safe, and filled with fun things to do. We want to enjoy our great weather, beautiful beaches, boat rides on the island, and good times with friends and we think Corpus Christi is headed in the right direction. Our leadership is focused on the needs of the people, private money is flowing in, as seen by the increase of home sales, new businesses popping up and, of course, Schlitterbahn. We both see a lot of people getting involved to make our city better, and we both enjoy volunteering our time to make Corpus the best it can be." Tell us what you think.
