Human Trafficking (the slavery and prostitution of children) is an issue that needs to be handled and stopped in the State of Texas. Human Trafficking many times has international origins but exists in Texas and is a large money making industry. We will be taking up this issue later this year.

TEXAS TAKES ANOTHER STEP FORWARD IN THE BATTLE AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING
During the 81st Legislative session, I had the fortune to serve as the Chairman of the Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence committee. While serving as Chairman of the committee, I was shocked to learn of the human trafficking issue currently present within the State of Texas.
