Second I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU

As many of you know, I am a strong supporter of developing the cruise ship industry for our area.  Our cruise ship bill was signed into law by the governor. We will be making plans to organize this effort. Let me know what you think, and if you want to be involved.

Also, should the Coastal Bend take the lead in gaming matters such as casinos, tracks and gaming utility districts? Will gaming bring more travel and tourism opportunities to our area?  Let me know what you think.

Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 5 the cruise industry bill, was filed as the Senate companion to House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 29 which I was proud to have the opportunity to file for the 82nd Regular Legislative Session.  These resolutions were filed as a result of numerous town hall meetings which I had the pleasure to host throughout District 32.
