The following is a collection of news and notes from your State Capitol involving issues that affect House District 32.

 

VOTER IDENTIFICATION PASSES OUT OF THE HOUSE

 

The Voter ID bill otherwise known as Senate Bill (SB) 14 passed out of the House on March 24, 2011 after receiving a 101 yeas and 48 nays. The passage of the SB 14 marked an important vote for the Texas House of Representatives of the 82nd Legislative Session.  read more... 

 

Todd on radio show

 

Todd keeps in touch with his constituents by calling in weekly to local radio shows and giving legislative updates. 

 

 


Ferry Artwork

 

Todd sponsored this display of children's artwork in the Capitol the week of March 28.  The artwork was submitted to TxDOT for the contest held to select local artists work to be displayed on the ferries at Port Aransas.  Todd was one of the five judges in the contest.  

 

Parenting Conference

Team Todd attended the San Patricio County Agri-Life Extension Parenting Conference on March 29, 2011.   

 

This is an annual event supported by many of the local school districts.

                   

 

Mission of Mercy

 

Team Todd attended the unveiling and blessing of the Mission of Mercy new mobile unit that was held on March 31, 2011. 

Taft Library

Team Todd attended the Taft Library Inspired by Books Fundraiser on April 2, 2011.
