The National Women's Political Caucus, LA Westside Chapter, would like to congratulate Congresswoman-elect Janice Hahn on her successful campaign to represent California's 36th Congressional District. Tuesday, Janice defeated Tea Party candidate Craig Huey, winning by almost 9%. Hahn is a strong advocate for women's rights and we were proud to support her in her campaign.
In light of the recent attacks on women's health and choice, it was critical to send another pro-choice woman to Congress. We are proud of Hahn's victory and are confident that she will be successful in Washington!
Together, we can reach gender equity in politics.
