You don't need a Psychic to tell you that now is the time to join (or renew membership) with NWPC!!   For just $50, you can join the largest grass-roots women's organization dedicated to increasing our participation in the political process.   Abbe Land, our special guest and Mayor of West Hollywood, will speak about being a woman elected official in today's world.
 
April 28th is also Equal Pay Day which is held annually in April to signify the point into a year that a woman must work to earn what a man made the previous year. Census statistics released in 2008 show that the gap between men's and women's earnings changed by less than one percent from 2006 to 2007, narrowing only slightly from 76.9 to 77.8 percent.  By becoming a member of NWPC, you contribute to promoting such important issues as Equal Pay, to name just one.
