News from Cape Abilities, November 25
Thanksgiving recipe, Holiday shopping suggestions
Thanksgiving? It seems like yesterday we were swimming off Sandy Neck, watching the sunset over Rock Harbor and grilling on the backyard deck. And Christmas and New Year's are just around the corner.

It's been very busy at the farm. Construction on our new greenhouse is continuing  - to bring you more award-winning tomatoes next summer.

The retail shop has been moved - just follow the signs. We still have a great selection of squash and other produce for your Thanksgiving table. Christmas trees, wreaths and holiday greens will be available this weekend.

The farmstand - at 458 Main Street in Dennis - is open every day (except Monday) from 10 AM - 4PM. We will be closed on Thursday and Friday this week, so our staff can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday with their families.

horse therapyIf you missed "Cooking with Cape Abilities" on Channel 17, you can watch Katie Stubstad and Chef/Owner Weldon Fizell from The Regatta of Cotuit prepare Buttercup Squash Bisque. It's a tasty recipe for Thanksgiving, and can be used with almost any squash. Chef Fizell has some great time-saving tips for preparing squash for Thanksgiving.

Cape Cod was the first stop for the Pilgrims in November, 1620. They anchored in Provincetown Harbor and explored the area before heading across Cape Cod bay.The strong connection between Cape Cod and Plimoth continues today.
