The weather may be colder and days may be shorter, but it is still very busy at our farm on Route 6A in Dennis. If it looks like a construction zone - it is. We've started clearing ground for our next greenhouse - it should be ready early next year - so we can grow even more of our award-winning tomatoes and other local produce.
The retail shop has been moved into one of our greenhouses - stop by for a close up view of our current crops. Tomatoes and lettuce are still fresh-picked every day. Of course we also have a great selection of squash and other produce for your holiday table.
The farmstand - at 458 Main Street in Dennis - is open every day (except Monday) from 10 AM - 4PM (Please note - we're closing a little earlier now). We'll be open until December 24th.
We've added several brief videos to our web site, including a wonderful story about Cape Abilities Horse Therapy program.

Cooking with Cape Abilities - On Channel 17 Tonight
Lights, camera, action! You've asked for recipes - now you can see how a top chef creates a tasty dish from our fresh produce at the farm.
Chef/Owner Weldon Fizell from The Regatta of Cotuit shares one of his special recipes, buttercup bisque, along with tips for preparing and cooking squash this holiday season. Katie Stubstad from Cape Abilities assists Chef Fizell.
Many thanks to Jackie Kantrowitz and Tracy Anderson owners of The Wine List in Hyannis for allowing us to videotape the cooking segment at their store's demonstration kitchen. If you haven't had a chance to visit The Wine List, it features an amazing selection and expert help.
" Cooking with Cape Abilities" can be seen on Channel 17 in Barnstable, Yarmouth, Dennis, Harwich and Chatham as part of "All Access Cape Cod" on Monday at 6:30PM and Tuesday at 5:30 PM now through December 2.
