The sunshine and warm temperatures have been working their magic on the tomatoes at Cape Abilities Farm this week. We have a limited supply available this weekend. We also have some delicious cucumbers and lettuce. Come early for the best selection. The farmstand on Route 6A in Dennis opens at 10 AM.

Plenty of Plants
Beautify your deck, porch or patio with one of our colorful hanging plants. There is wide selection still available - prices start at $25.
We also have vegetables, annuals and other plants for your garden.
Be sure to check out our extensive collection herbs - we have more than six varieties of basil - to eat or grow. Basil is originally native to India, and has been cultivated there for more than 5,000 years. |
Adopt a Bee, Create a Buzz
It has been a busy week for adoptions at Cape Abilities Farm. To read about some of the new members of the farm, click on each name:
Bees: Lola, Tori, Michael, Buzzy, June, Helena, Peter, Larry Bird, Virgil, Avery, Jennifer's Hair Studio and AmyMac.
The bees are an important part of the farm. Bumblebees pollinate plants twice as fast as honeybees. The bees help us grow more tomatoes. Bees work well with humans, but they don't like the color blue - or watches. Each bee that is adopted helps create jobs for people with disabilities at the farm. If you become a farm member at the $50 level (or higher) you will receive a free Cape Abilities Farm bag and 10% off all of your farm purchases.*
