IonSense at the AOAC Meeting - DART for Food Safety

We will be attending the AOAC Annual Meeting & Exposition September 26-29 in Orlando, FL. We will be highlighting the application of DART to problems in Food Safety. Please stop by booth 111 to say hi and see the latest on DART for Food analysis.
There are also a number of presentations showing the application of DART to rapid screening. -
Sara Edison, U.S. FDA - Forensic Chemistry Center "Rapid Screening for Pesticides Using Ambient Pressure Desorption Ionization
(with) High Resolution Mass Spectrometry"
-
Jana Hajslova, Institute of Chemical
Technology, Prague "Ambient Mass Spectrometry
with Ultra High Resolution Mass Spectrometry as a Powerful Tool for Rapid
Profiling of Food"
-
IonSense, Inc. "Rapid Screening of Edible
Oils Using Triglyceride and Fatty Acid Distributions Generated by Desorption
Ionization Direct Analysis in Real Time (DART) Mass Spectrometry for Quality
Assessment"

Directly Analyze Fruit Juice for Pesticides
We've recently been doing some work analyzing pesticides direclty out of fruit juice. In this case we used the 3+D Scanner to automatically analyze a series of spiked apple juice samples. The 30 samples of 100ppb to 10ppm were analyzed using SRM transition of m/z 230 > 199, and completed in 10 minutes with good linearity
30 Samples in 10 minutes
