We will be attending the AOAC Annual Meeting & Exposition September 26-29 in Orlando, FL.  We will be highlighting the application of DART to problems in Food Safety.

DART, QuEChERS, and Mycotoxins

Here is a recent paper on the rapid analysis of multiple mycotoxins isolated from wheat and maize by a modified QuEChERS procedure.  The DART source was coupled to an Orbitrap mass spectrometer

Directly Analyze Fruit Juice for Pesticides

We've recently been doing some work analyzing pesticides direclty out of fruit juice.  In this case we used the 3+D Scanner to automatically analyze a series of spiked apple juice samples.  The 30 samples of 100ppb to 10ppm were analyzed using SRM transition of m/z 230 > 199, and completed in 10 minutes with good linearity
