Findings widely reported this past summer determined once and for all that excessive use of tanning beds causes cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer, which advises the World Health Organization, raised its warning on tanning beds from "probably carcinogenic to humans" to "carcinogenic to humans." The agency made the move after reviewing data indicating that the rates of melanoma are 75% higher in those people who started frequenting tanning beds on a regular basis before they turned 30.

The Country Cares for St Judes kids radiothon is coming to 106.5 CTQ! It's two days of life saving radio. 106.5 CTQ has turned over their airwaves to St Jude every year since 1990 and this year SpaRenity is proud to be involved! The radiothon is all day Feb 11-12 and you can call anytime to make a donation to St Jude. However, SpaRenity is raising money and answering the phones during their special Angel Hour on Fri Feb 12 from 5PM-6PM.
