What is Microdermabrasion? Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive epidermal treatment that involves the skin being "sandblasted" by aluminum oxide crystals to remove the horny (top) layer of the skin; dead and damaged skin cells. This promotes the production of new cells in the basal (deepest) layer of the dermis and stimulates the skin to produce more collagen and elastin, giving the skin a younger, firmer, and more supple appearance. SpaRenity's great group of therapists are busy as usual and we are happy to announce that two of our LMT's, Fatima and Ellen have exciting news!

Fatima will graduate from nursing school at MCC this spring and will begin working as a full time nurse this year!

Ellen is pregnant with her first child and is due in May!

We Want Your Ideas Contest!

For the past four years our lobby has featured a 90 gallon salt water aquarium. Although it was beautiful we have decided we needed something new and exciting in our lobby for 2009! Below are pictures of the empty space (temporarily hidden with a curtain). This area opens to both the lobby and nail room. We want YOUR idea on what to build in this area! We have had suggestions from a water wall to a professional makeup station. Please respond to this email with your detailed idea and if you have any recommendations for someone to build or create your idea that would also be helpful! The best idea will win a SpaRenity Relaxation Massage!
