"Fall Into Healthy Skin" Open House |
|
SpaRenity held a skin care open house on Sept 23rd. We had a wonderful turn out of 40 new, as well as familiar faces, who shared an evening with us on the first full day of fall. Everyone who attended received a gift bag filled with samples and coupons including Jane Iredale lipstick, Dermalogica sunscreen, VytonOrganics cucumber bodysilk, SpaRenity candles, brushes, and pens, and coupons for $25 off any skin care service discussed. Demonstrations included Microdermabrasion and Derma-Planing by Nancy and Ear Candling by Shantell and Susan talked about Chemical and Glycolic Peels and Permanent Makeup. Clint Heger of Dermalogica and Todd Bradshaw of VytonOrganics were our special guest speakers and Louise of MS Designs Jewelry and Accessories was on hand with displays of her unique purses and jewelry.
All guests received a door prize including gift certificates for LED light treatments and Derma-Planning with Nancy Dowe, a 2 night hotel stay at Comfort Suites in Sarasota, and Dermalogica Age Smart, Daylight Defense, and Shave products.

W hy is waxing better than shaving? Hair is removed from the root. There is less chance of getting ingrown hairs and no razor burn.
A ntacids 20 to 30 minutes before waxing will lower sidic levels in the blood. this keeps the skin from becoming so red during and after waxing.
X tra method of exfoliating dead dry skin and washing with an exfoliant after waxing will prolong hair growth.
I rriation of the skin can be caused if prescription Retin-A is beingtaken, so let the technician know before waxing.
N o lying out in the sun or tanning bed 24 to 48 hours before or after waxing. This will prevent skin irritation.
