Citizens League Oral History ProjectThis past week has been the start of an ongoing process of
collecting an oral history for the Citizens League. Initiated as part
of the celebration of the League's upcoming 60th anniversary, I have
been conducting video interviews to capture perspectives on our
organization dating as far back as possible. It is my hope that these interviews can serve an important function of
learning from inter-generational experiences, whether to improve our
work or to simply connect and develop our shared goals and attitudes.
Read Adam's blog post hereDo you have any suggestions of who we should interview? Would you like
to share your experience with the Citizens League and contribute to our
oral history records? Contact Adam at aarling[at]citizensleague.org for further details. |
Help Us Meet Our Membership Goal
We are only 448 members away from our
2,600 member goal for this year - help us get there! Are you considering an additional donation to the
Citizens League? Do you have friends or family members who might benefit from a
Citizens League membership? Combine the two! Giving a gift membership is a great
way to introduce your friends and family to the important work of the Citizens
League, and membership growth ensures that we have both the new participants and
the level of funding needed to meet Minnesota's growing policy challenges. To give
a gift membership, please go here go here or contact Cat Beltmann at cbeltmann[at]citizensleague.org or 651-293-0575 for more details |
Support the Citizens League with your Kowalski's Receipt
Kowalski's Markets has generously included us in their Groceries for Good Causes program.
Place your receipt in the Citizens League bin at your local Kowalski's. Kowalski's will make a contribution to the Citizens League each quarter based on the number of receipts in our bins. If you don't see a bin at your local market, please ask the store manager and they will add us as space allows.
