Support Impartial Courts: Contact Your Legislator
As part of the Coalition for Impartial Justice, the Citizens League supports legislation (HF224/SF70) to establish a ballot initiative in November 2010 to improve our system for selecting and electing judges.
Because of a recent Supreme Court decision and the negative effect on campaigns in other states, Minnesota needs a constitutional amendment to protect the impartiality of our courts. Please contact your legislators and let them know about your support.
Find your representative, and find sample email text and more information about the change we are proposing on the Citizens League's website. |
