    Join former state senator and DNR Commissioner Gene Merriam and St. Paul resident and organizer Janna Caywood to discuss the conclusions and recommendations of the Citizens League's water policy study and how the ways we manage water must become more collaborative in order to address water problems.

    Sign up for the Spring 2010 Course, Quantum Civics: Introduction to Active Citizenship for Emerging Leaders

    Tuesdays, March 9th - May 11th

    This 10-week course for emerging leaders helps participants develop a deeper understanding of the themese, concepts and skills of active citizenship. The course is premised on the Citizens League's belief that there are opportunities to practice active citizenship skills and be a more effective governing member in all types of institutions: work, community, school, government, faith, family.

    The course costs $500 per participant; scholarships are available.

    Rochester Affililate Seeks Steering Committee Members

    Citizens League members in the Rochester area are invited to apply to serve on the Rochester Affiliate Steering Committee. Applications are due February 28. For more information about the Steering Committee and how to apply, download the application (pdf).
